Sigmund Freud, London, 1939 -by Marcel Sternberger
Born in Hungary, Sternberger (1899-1956) had an important career as a portrait photographer in Europe and then the US. In the 1950’s he taught a course at NYU called “Psychology and Techniques of Portrait Photography.”
